I grew up in Lawrence and opened Jelly in a salon suite on Essex Street so my regulars could book around work and the school day. The menu is short on purpose. I do natural manicures, sheer gel color, soft-gel sets and small hand-painted art, and I tell you how long each will take before you sit down.

Jelly is one suite in a salon building on Essex Street, with a pink wall, a white table and one chair for you.
Text Massiel when you are at the door and she lets you in. One guest may sit with you. Parking is in the lot beside the building.

Book your visit
Choose a time on the booking page. A deposit holds it and goes toward your service. For a set or art, text Massiel a picture first.
What to bring
Bring a picture of a color or a design you like. If your nails were done somewhere else, book removal with your service.
When you arrive
Come to Suite 6 and text when you are at the door. Parking is in the lot beside the building. One guest may sit with you.
What to expect
Massiel talks through shape and length, then works at the table by the window. A manicure takes 40 to 55 minutes. She tells you the time for anything longer before you sit down.

What people ask first
Can I walk in without an appointment?
No. Jelly is by appointment, so that each client has the room and Massiel's time to herself. Choose a time on the booking page, or text to ask about an opening.
How does the deposit work?
A deposit holds your time and goes toward your service. The booking page shows the amount when you choose a time.
How long will I be here?
A gel manicure takes about 55 minutes and a soft-gel set about an hour and 45 minutes. Art adds time, and Massiel tells you how much before she starts.
Can I bring my child?
One guest may sit with you. Because the suite is small and the tools are close, a child comes along only with another adult who stays with them.
What if I need to move my time?
Tell Massiel 24 hours ahead and she will find you another opening. After that, the deposit may stay with the studio.
